Today, DTAC’s support extends beyond quality products, reliable service and delivery. We also understand the demands placed on our customers and the commitment they need in order to stay competitive. Located in Midlothian Texas, DTAC has a strong history in heavy truck, specialty vehicles and off-road air conditioning.
DTAC began as an air conditioning installation and service facility in 1977, located in Dallas, Texas. We were suppliers of air conditioners and heaters for the heavy truck industry and distributors for virtually all the major manufacturers.
DTAC started designing and manufacturing heat/cool systems to control the quality our customers demanded. Five years later, further expansion and the purchase of the sheet metal fabrication facility allowed for continued control, quality and the increased ability for development.
DTAC made the strategic decision to shift from an aftermarket only supplier to selling direct to O.E.M. and cab manufacturers. This transition marked the beginning of rapid growth for DTAC in both sales and market share that still continues today.
DTAC celebrated another significant milestone when it established its first international distributor in India. DTAC‘s reputation continues to grow in the international market as our products are integrated into O.E.M. machines and shipped worldwide.
